Where is the innocence?

Where’s the honesty? Truth?

In a world of constant lies, agendas, ego-driven interests, instant gratification…

It can feel challenging to see or connect to that pure innocence. Selflessness. Goodwill. Paradise on Earth. Honesty.

Sometimes I feel humanity is in this bad acid trip, a huge tumble dryer being tossed around, chasing, running, speeding.

Craving to be seen, be heard, be touched, be loved. Be understood, be accepted.

And the ultimate longing is connection. Togetherness. Tribe. Belonging.

It’s an interesting time to be alive.

What I learned about truth these past years is that it is something that comes from within.

When you're deeply connected to your soul and body. It’s not something you read in an article. It’s not a statistical graph.

It’s deeper than that. It’s a knowing.

And to find your own truth is the way to stay centered in a crazy world. To rest in your own integrity, honesty and innocence is the only way to infuse the world with it.

Become the change you want to see. Be an example.

Taking this down into a dating context, there’s an anxiety and hopelessness going on, there’s an epidemic of “casual sex” or “friends with benefits” and men who market themselves with their height, snapchat link and gym selfies.

Where’s the depth?

Where’s the heart?

Where’s the vulnerability?

Where’s the WHOLE human?

Have we given up?

After all rejection, being unmatched, being disappointed at dates and people in general, being catfished, being heartbroken.

Is it easier to turn into kinky play and open relating instead of committed long term relationships?

I want to see a world where we dare to open our hearts again. Dare to show our longing for belonging.

Dare to speak about our desires and to create the relationship designs that we truly desire. It’s not about open or closed. There’s so much space in between for you to c-r-e-a-t-e exactly the type of connection, play, intimacy and meaning that you want in this life. From your truth, from your desire.

We need to start speaking our truths. On all levels. What do you stand for? What is your intention? What is your magic? What’s your fears? What kind of life do you see for yourself if you didn’t have any obstacles and you knew you were gonna succeed? That’s what I want to see on a dating profile.

Let’s call in the innocence, truth and vulnerability in 2024. Are you here for it?
